Bend Over Backwards

Some shots are easier than others. Trying to make a basket over a defenders outstretched arms can prove difficult such that it causes your body to contort and reach back to avoid getting blocked. It shows how good a players athleticism and conditioning can be.

Even a 7 footer like Greg Slaughter of the Ateneo Blue Eagles may get challenged from time to time. Here is is going up against Austin Manyara of Adamson.

Here's a bendy one by Kokoy Hermosisima formerly of the National University Bulldogs.

A younger Karim Abdul of UST in his rookie season going up against Alinko Mbah of UP.

Kiefer Ravena of the Blue Eagles loves to attack the basket when he can and I found two photos of him.

Reil Cervantes, a center formerly of FEU going up against Jovet Mendoza of DLSU.

LA Revilla a crafty point guard from DLSU going up against JM Noble of UE.

Tonino "Zags" Gonzaga, another Blue Eagle also gets in the act scoring off UP Maroon Arvin Padilla.

Almond Vosotros of DLSU, who has bloomed in the 75th Season of the UAAP also going up against Padilla.

Terence Romeo, a gifted point Guard form FEU also against the same player...what is it with Alvin Padilla and players bending over backwards against him.

The UE Red Warrior in this last photo will have to remain unnamed. I cannot seem to recognize the player. It was a nice sequence and it would have been a waste to leave it out of this post. He is bending backwards quite a bit after all.
